As a child I struggled to read and experienced feeling a lack of confidence, motivation, and I had self doubt. It wasn't until I had more support academically from my parents and teachers that I finally was able to read and feel proud of myself.

My goal is to help struggling readers to not only become better readers, but to also motivate and encourage kids to find the joy in reading!

I've been in education for 21 years. I've taught grades: PreK, Kinder, 1st, 2nd, & 3rd. This is my 7th year as a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) and Licensed Dyslexia Therapist.

I have 2 grown children and 3 dogs: Kylo & Korra are huskies and Maggie is a Yorkie mix. I love teaching and bringing the joy of reading to kids!
